This year's show opens at the San Diego Convention Center on Tuesday, September 5 with a full day of educational sessions. The following day, Wednesday, September 6 is another full day of training. This year CEDIA has more than 100 courses for technical and business training.

Luxury Clientele: Working with the Client's Team to Deliver the Exceptional

This session will guide you on how to work with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele by gaining the trust of their project team is essential to obtaining client buy in and in many cases to winning the project. When a project reaches a certain size, you find yourself working with the client's team of advisors and much less frequently with the clients themselves. Project team members can include: architect, interior designer, owner's representative, AV consultant, financial advisor, construction management firm, estate manager or the client's “home office.” This course is a panel discussion using real world case studies to highlight successful strategies and mindset for building relationships, trust and working effectively with each member of the project team.
Work Smarter, Not Harder

This four-hour workshop is done with consultant Leslie Shiner. The session includes a panel of top integrators who will be discussing important operational issues such as finding, hiring and retaining employees, as well as how to maximize their labor utilization rate, and how they handle service (so it is profitable!).
The trade show floor is open from Thursday, Sept. 7 to Saturday, Sept. 9. The show floor opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Closing time on Saturday is 5 p.m.
On Thursday, September 5, CE Pro will be holding a beer and wine reception in our booth #2420 at 5 p.m. to present the winners of the 2017 CE Pro BEST Awards as well as the Electronic House Home of the Year awards.
