A Showroom Integrators Can Take with Them No Matter Where They Are

SmartShowroom360

Cogent360

Cogent360 unveiled its SmartShowroom360 software this week, introducing what might be the industry’s first instance of a virtual showroom for demos.

According to Cogent360, the platform includes over 25 fully navigable residential environments—from luxury interiors to outdoor living spaces—aimed at showcasing key systems like home theaters, motorized shades and lighting control, to name a few.

Prospects are even able to interact with programmable scenes and control interfaces in-context, bridging what Cogent360 calls the “imagination gap” when it comes to letting clients test drive smart home technology.

The platform runs on Cogent360’s Vizualize engine (the same tech used by LG and Resideo) and is accessible via any browser—usable during in-home consultations, design meetings, trade shows or embedded on integrator websites.

Trinnov is Finally Giving a Live Demo of Its WaveForming Tech

Trinnov Audio Ascendo Audio Advice

Trinnov Audio

Trinnov Audio and ASCENDO Immersive Audio announced a major milestone in immersive bass demoing planned for Audio Advice Live 2025 in Raleigh, NC, August 1–3.

In a dedicated 25-by-25-foot demo room, attendees will finally have a chance to experience Trinnov’s WaveForming technology in person.

Developed in part with ASCENDO Immersive Audio, WaveForming is an active-acoustics system for eliminating room modes. At the show, the system will be powered by an Altitude32 processor, Amplitude16 amps, and an array of 12 ASCENDO THE16 active sealed subwoofers (six front, six back).

The setup, Trinnov assures, promises pitch-uniform low-frequency performance throughout the space, offering a visceral and precise bass experience unlike conventional systems.

This marks not only the first U.S. showcase of WaveForming at Audio Advice Live, but also the debut appearance of ASCENDO’s subwoofer lineup at the event
