URC announced the winners of its 11th annual Unsurpassed Awards during CEDIA Expo 2025, celebrating excellence in residential and commercial automation installations.
Launched in 2015, the awards program recognizes projects that demonstrate creativity, advanced system design, and innovative use of URC’s Total Control platform. Categories include Best Residential, Best Commercial, Most Unique, and Best International, with submissions coming from U.S. dealers and international distributors.
“URC’s ability to deliver reliable products, on-time and on-budget, has helped replace systems from other control brands with our Total Control system,” said Chang K. Park, URC’s founder and CEO. “Our dealers are growing their businesses, impressing clients, and inspiring new products and integrations.”
Award Highlights

Chairman’s Award of Excellence: Nard’s Entertainment (VA) earned top honors for a large-scale integration at Upton Place on Wisconsin, a residential community in Washington, D.C. The installation included URC’s HDA amplifiers, MRX controllers, and touchscreens to deliver high-performance audio and control across multi-dwelling units and public spaces.

Best Residential Installation – USA: Affordable Sound & Security (IN) won Gold for outfitting a new home with 14 televisions, extensive HDA audio, Lutron lighting and shading, and multiple URC touchscreens and remotes.

Best Commercial Installation – USA: Allstar Systems (NY) took Gold for a sports bar project that centralized control of 28 Samsung displays and nine audio zones using URC processors, amplifiers, and touch panels.

Most Unique Installation – USA: Vis AV (UK) earned Gold for a multimedia art exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, synchronizing projectors, amplifiers, and playback systems through URC’s Total Control Flex.

Best International Installation: Hidden Home Technology (UK) received Gold for transforming a garage into a luxury home cinema featuring Wisdom Audio, Storm Audio processing, tunable lighting, and full URC control.
Other honorees included Audio Wizards, Beverly Hills Smart, JL Entertainment Designs, Lowell Edwards, LCA System, ProTech Audio & Visual, and BenchMark AV.
