SoundTube Entertainment has announced the appointment of Jimmy Martin as Design Sales Engineer. Based in Austin, Texas, Martin will support integrators, consultants, and distribution partners with system design, pre-sales engineering, and technical sales support across SoundTube’s expanding portfolio.
Martin’s Background
Martin’s background spans retail pro audio sales, live sound engineering, AV installation, manufacturing and inside sales for major industry brands such as the Music & Arts Center, Guitar Center, Screen Innovations, Biamp and HARMAN.
Throughout the roles, Martin built his skillset in pro audio retail and system consultation in addition to supporting programming, audio-video design and pre-sales engineering for complex commercial AV projects.
“Jimmy brings a rare combination of field installation experience, manufacturer-side technical depth, and real-world live sound expertise,” said Peter Melvin, vice president, SoundTube.
Martin’s Role at SoundTube
In his new role at SoundTube, Martin will collaborate with integrators and consultants to specify loudspeaker systems across hospitality, retail, education, house of worship, and outdoor environments.
He will also support the company’s IP-enabled and Dante ecosystem solutions, helping partners design scalable, networked audio systems that simplify deployment and improve performance.
Martin is based in Austin and will support customers throughout North America.
