Now, the company boasts, its plug-and-play smart lighting systems will be installed in all new homes built by Home Creations in Oklahoma City and Houston, by Glenwood Homes in Tulsa, and by 1st Oklahoma Homes in Oklahoma City.
Deako points out that Home Creations is ranked #86 on the Builder 100 List and builds approximately 600 homes annually. Home Creations focuses on safety, security, sustainability and quality in all of its new builds, making Deako a natural partner for the company.

Deako Provides Home Creations with Flexible Smart Home Packages for Every Buyer
The home builders’ multiple divisions will come equipped with Deako smart lighting packages ranging from five to 15 smart switches—giving buyers modern lighting control out of the box. Homebuyers will also have the option to purchase additional upgrades post-close, making it easy to further customize their smart home experience over time.
The installation of Deako systems will be handled by certified local electricians in each market, ensuring a professional setup process for every home. Deako asserts that its products’ modular design makes it simple for electricians and homeowners alike to upgrade from standard to smart lighting with no rewiring required. According to Deako, it takes just seconds to change the Deako switch being used in any room once the backplate is installed. The company goes on to suggest that its modular smart lighting products can be used for both new construction and retrofit projects with products including smart switches, outlets and security systems.
