Zigen, a California-based manufacturer of AV signal distribution products has announced its HXL-PLUS Matrix Series.
The company states that its latest product line is capable of handling UltraHD 4K resolutions, along with high dynamic range (HDR) formats that include Dolby Vision, HDR-10, HDR-10+ and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma).
Zigen points out the HXL-PLUS series of matrix switches provides integrators with built-in web diagnostic tools, audio matrix options, and scaled outputs AV systems that employ mixed resolution displays. The products also incorporates five-band equalizers (EQ), preset EQ, volume attenuation, tone control, surround effects and Left/right balance options.
According to Zigen, the HXL-PLUS line of products support 12-bit Dolby Vision and 10-bit HDR across all of their inputs and outputs.
Elaborating on the products web diagnostic tools, Zigen notes its’ ZigNet feature pulls real-time data from all sources and displays to provide integrators with a full overview of problems a distributed AV system may encounter.
Zigen adds that its web-based tools eliminate the need for external tools that could be expensive and time consuming to use.
