KEF America has announced the promotion of Chelsea Layne to sales & marketing manager. Previously the regional sales manager at Best Buy Magnolia for South Central region, Layne has now been promoted to the Home & Custom Division to support KEF America’s growing independent dealer channel in the USA and Canada.
Joining the company back in 2019, Chelsea Layne will now work directly with KEF America‘s VP of marketing, Stephanie Scola, executing the company’s marketing strategy, managing brand project plans and event activities designed to drive traffic and awareness to the KEF dealer channel.
“With Chelsea on board we can increase our focused efforts supporting our KEF Dealer family. We will provide focused outreach offering marketing & tech education, plus the tools needed to grow their luxury audio selling skills to music fans across the continent,” says Scola.
“I’m very excited to have Chelsea join my elite team of marketing professionals, and I look forward to successful days ahead.”
Layne lives in southern Louisiana where she began a career in music and concert production. Over the last decade, she gained experience as a producer, talent buyer and tour manager in the jazz fusion and R&B communities, working with notable artists such as Herbie Hancock and Snarky Puppy. Layne is the co-founder of a non-profit organization that teaches young musicians how to navigate the entertainment industry. She also volunteers as a radio personality where she’s able to share her knowledge and love for music with the community.
