Published: March 4, 2022

Catalyst AV member LM Electronics located in Fort Worth, Texas, hosted an event where manufacturers, dealers and reps alike enjoyed the distributor’s newly designed 225-plus square foot space.

An immersive home theater was emphasized during the grand opening event, and Cliff Clarke, partner and managing director of LM Electronics, notes the system includes state-of-the-art components.

“We are running a 7.3.2 Atmos setup with PMC in wall/ceiling speakers, StormAudio processor and amp, Display Technologies Screen and the newly announced Epson LS12000 projector. We are also using Definitive Technology subwoofers and Rapid AV Connect wiring for the setup, along with SurgeX for protection and seating from Fortress,” he says.

In attendance for the event were Gary Blouse and Matt Trinklein from StormAudio, and Joaquin Riverea and his team from the rep firm ByDesign VSM.

Other systems running include a stereo solution from Meridian, and lighting and shade solutions from Screen Innovations (SI), DMF, Luminii, Light Walls and MP Lighting.

“The event was a huge success and the new theater gives our dealers the opportunity to show their customers what a reference theater looks and sounds like,” adds Clarke.

“The effort and investment in our new theater is already paying off.”
