The annual Montreal Audiofest is set to take place on March 25 through March 27 at the Hotel Bonaventure, and the Montreal-based audio company Simaudio will take part in the event.
The MOON room will feature a system comprising of a 680D streaming DAC, 740P preamplifier, 820S power supply and two 860A v2 power amplifiers. A pair of Raidho TD 4.2 floorstanding speakers will deliver the music, a Nordost Qbase QRT QB8 will maintain the lowest possible AC supply impedance, and Nordost Valhalla 2 cables will provide connectivity. MOON’s products will be positioned on furniture provided by Hi-Fi Racks.
The Simaudio Montreal Audiofest room features an Acoustic Science Bass trap and Vicoustic quadratic diffusers and the acoustics have been carefully designed and calibrated by renowned engineer, Sylvain Barrette, of Boreal Acoustics. MOON’s visitors are certain to be impressed by the extraordinary audio performance.
MOON has recently announced the addition of Tidal Connect to its streaming products and the show represents the first opportunity for the MOON team to demonstrate its capabilities.
Alongside the active system, there will also be a static product display featuring’s MOON 40th Anniversary Edition system, as well as a 390 network player, a 330A power amplifier, a 888 Reference monoblock power amplifier and the ACE all-in-one music system.
Additionally, MOON is sponsoring two conferences at Montreal Audiofest where a MOON 390 and MOON 330A together with a pair of Monitor Audio speakers will provide the music.
