Metra Home Theater IR Kit Extends Control Signals

The CS-IRKITCCUS IR extender kit incorporates code learning capabilities to allow integrators to easily set up and control TV lifts, curtains, screens, and more.

Metra Home Theater IR Kit Extends Control Signals

The new Metra Home Theater CS-IORKITCCUS IR Extender Kit comes with everything integrators will need to transmit device signals for everything from set-top boxes, to TV lifts and projection screens.

Diversifying its product line, the new Metra Home Theater CS-IRKITCCUS IR extender kit is designed to help integrators increase the control capabilities of products such as lifts, curtains, and projection screens.

The company's latest infrared repeater (IR) with IR control contact enclosure and code-learning features works with its Voltage Control Trigger (HDM-VCT) and All-in-One (HDM-AIO) repair tools.

Via the kit, integrators can extend IR signals of remote control devices and provide an interface to relay a selection of controllable products within a home theater that utilizes an HDMI repair tool for hot-plug relay purposes.

According to Metra Home Theater, previously systems that utilized the HDM-VCT or HDM-AIO products required integration into high-performance home control systems to activate those devices. The kit allows integrators to employ these repair tools in basic systems that are as simple as cable set-top boxes (STBs) and TVs.

The CS-IRKITCCUS kit bundles together everything an integrator will need to extend the signals of IR remote devices. It's also a competitively priced solution that includes a built-in contact enclosure relay with IR code learning for its closed and open states.

The Extender Kit is engineered to work with most of the IR repeating systems available in the U.S., and through functions like its five LED indicators, the kit can communicate to integrators learning and operational status functions.
