Keeping Tabs on Tariff Impacts in the Custom Integration Industry

This comprehensive list will keep an ongoing tally of manufacturer price increases (or lack thereof) within the custom integration industry due to tariffs.
Published: May 1, 2025

Tariffs are on everyone’s mind right now, but perhaps the biggest question lies in just how the incoming tariffs from the Trump administration will impact business. For manufacturers, that’s a tricky question to answer, not just because of the fluidity of the tariff policy itself, but because every manufacturer has a unique exposure profile when it comes to products and a different approach to handling price increases (if any) in order to keep the business running smoothly.

The point is: no one company is going to react the same way, so integrators can’t expect a simple response of “all business costs are going to go up 20%” or something like that. Instead, manufacturers are going to have a more nuanced response when it comes to tariffs, if those manufacturers choose to respond at all.

Transparency is really the only thing integrators can ask for at this point, and while some manufacturers are waiting to see how the tariffs play out, others have already begun to lay out their plans for dealers.

The point of this article is to keep track of those responses so integrators can stay ahead of everything.
