While at CES 2026, Displace has unveiled the follow-up to its flagship wireless display, this time taking aim at a product category more commonly seen in professional installations: the video wall. The product is appropriately named the Displace Wall.
Displace’s History in the Display Market
Displace originally hit the market back in 2023 when the company announced its flagship TV, calling it the first “true” wireless TV. This came out around the same time as LG’s “wireless” TV, and while the LG model still required a cable for power, the Displace, to its credit, was entirely battery operated.
What caught more eyes for Displace at the time was its mounting methods, as, rather than being traditionally mounted via screws and brackets, the Displace TV used a vacuum suction method for adhering itself to walls.
While interesting as a concept, this did introduce limitations in the walls the TV could be affixed to with there being no separate options for traditional mounting at the time. This has since been remedied with specialty mounting plates and stands; however, the vacuum suction remains the proprietary method for mounting the TV to a wall.
The Displace Wall
Despite being a non-standard mounting method, the company states its suction technology is what puts the Displace Wall above traditional video walls, as installation for the 110-inch and 130-inch options purportedly takes less than 30 minutes.
Four Displace TVs make up each Displace Wall installation, becoming a 4K OLED video wall with a “host” TV serving as the main connection point for external devices. The aforementioned “active-loop suction technology” affixes the displays to the wall with no need for any extra hardware, provided they are being installed on a flat surface.
Once installed, the system functions either as a single, unified display or as four independent screens. The system also leverages gesture control, allowing users to select a video or game on the host TV and then instantly expand it to full screen across all four displays.
What’s Noteworthy for Integrators
Traditional video wall installations are notoriously time-consuming and expensive. Even small setups can take hours, requiring multiple displays, external controllers, mounts and elaborate cable management.
If Displace can accomplish what it’s proposing, it would be a potential paradigm shift in home entertainment. At the very least, it could make video wall installations a little bit more flexible in other areas of the home (again provided that performance is up to snuff). It’s an interesting thought as, right now, video walls tend to dictate entire room layouts due to their size, complexity and associated infrastructure, leaving them solitary fixtures in homes if they’re getting installed in the first place.
The ability to swap between full screen viewing and quad screen might be a nice touch for sports fans as well, however, elements such as responsiveness regarding the hand gestures would need to be field tested for how easy they are to perform.
In terms of challenging the installs happening today, it’s likely those dedicated setups will continue to happen for raw performance preference and customization options alone. However, what this might do to open other areas of the home for video wall installations is worth keeping an eye on, especially with the public appetite for larger formats not satiated just yet.
This also comes at a time where, even in the professional channel, video wall manufacturers are looking to speed up installation times and drop costs, so there’s potential for the biggest innovations in the category to come not from visual performance but through installation, cost and setup as time goes on.
Pricing and Availability
The 110-inch Displace Wall retails for $39,999, and the 130-inch version is priced at $59,999. Preorders open during CES 2026, with shipments expected by June.
