CEDIA has a lot on its plate these days. With the recent announcement the association has sold the CEDIA show, it is now honed in even more on expanding its educational offerings for integrators.
In this exclusive conversation with CE Pro, CEDIA's Dave Pedigo, vice president of emerging technologies, outlines the association's goals for CEDIA 2017 this fall, the upcoming CEDIA Business Xchange, and the CEDIA Boot Camps.
“People may not know that the CEDIA Technology Council will kick off the Business Xchange with a 2-hour discussion on the future of the industry,” says Pedigo. The CEDIA Business Xchange will take place in San Antonio, Texas, from March 1-3,, 2017.
Pedigo reveals the association plans to take the Boot Camps on the road around the country, with a focus on its successful Networking Boot Camp.
For the CEDIA 2017 this fall in San Diego (September 5-9), the association will present 120 educational courses on both technical and business-related subjects.
