Recently the Danish speaker manufacturer DALI announced the latest addition to its growing product line: The PHANTOM E-Series of architectural loudspeakers.
DALI’s new PHANTOM E-Series features technologies derived from the company’s KOMPAS 6M products, including a newly improved, dealer friendly dogleg mounting system that DALI says eliminates the need for any special tools. The line includes a choice of three products that provides electronics professionals a range of solutions to meet their clients’ aesthetic, performance and financial needs. The products can be used for home theater and whole-house A/V.
- PHANTOM E-50 ($495 per pair): The small footprint 5-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker is said to deliver a clear and crisp audio experience for homeowners. The speaker can be used as a set of stereo pairs in a small room or as rear surrounds in a larger home theater environment.
- PHANTOM E-60 ($695 per pair): The 5.5-inch E-60 is described as an “all-around speaker” for custom integrators. DALI says the easy-to-install speaker can be integrated into home environments such as kitchens and family rooms as part of a whole-house audio installation, or dealers can use it as a side or rear surround speaker in a large home theater room.
- PHANTOM E-80 ($895 per pair): The largest of the three E-Series products, the E-80 is an 8-inch model engineered to deliver lots of tight bass and a wide soundstage. The E-80 can be used in whole-house audio systems as well as any position within a multichannel home theater system.
