Crestron is bringing its hip home automation technology to one of the hippest places in the world. The Rockleigh, N.J.-based company has added a new Experience Center and Design Showroom in the well-known DCOTA Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Fla., just north of Miami.
The showroom is a setting for interior designers, lighting designers, builders, technology professionals, architects, and homeowners to experience firsthand Crestron technology in a real-life setting.
Featuring a living room, kitchen, master suite, and home office, along with a learning space for seminar events, the showroom showcases everything from automated shading and lighting to fully integrated environmental and A/V controls for the home. The emphasis is on style and providing welcoming and beautiful functional spaces in which guests can experience how design meets Crestron technology to enhance their lifestyle and complement any décor.
“The new showroom makes it easy for the design community in South Florida and beyond to learn about the endless possibilities Crestron technology offers, and discover how it can seamlessly blend with any interior design,” says John Clancy, Crestron vice president of residential.
To deliver this experience, Crestron partnered with leading manufacturers including Miele appliances, Smallbone furniture, 4141 Design for Maxalto furniture, Kravet Fabrics, Duralee Fabrics, Romo Fabrics, Lumiron (linear and color change LED fixtures), Wall-Smart (wall mounts), and LDVC Art Concierge Services (art).
