When custom integrators get together, you can count on some discussions around brands they love, brands they don’t love, brands that are great to work with, and brands that are difficult. There’s always plenty of fodder for that topic, but the proof is in the putting as they say, which is why we always like to conduct the CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis as a follow-up to those discussions, which is why we’re back at it again for 2025.
Each year, tallying the number of supplier mentions by the CE Pro 100 reflects the most preferred brands by the industry’s high-revenue dealers, who enter their information after being solicited in March to participate.
As usual, we need to point out that the 2025 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis data comes directly from integrators’ CE Pro 100 entries for which we asked about their top three brands in all categories. Naturally, some dealers, especially those who offer good/better/best options for clients, mentioned more than three vendors as is the case each year.
Because several dealers annually apply for the CE Pro 100, it’s not surprising that in many categories for 2025, the leaders and lists look similar to last year’s Brand Analysis. After all, it is a small sample size, but one that CE Pro has always felt represents the industry at large and current trends that are shaping it.

For instance, it’s clear from 2025’s CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis that Blu-ray’s numbers continue to drop, while turntable makers continue to add more CE Pro 100 dealers to their base. Higher numbers of CE Pro 100 mentions validate certain categories’ momentum in the custom channel — outdoor video, landscape lighting, fixtures, home networks, power protection, and more.
