CE Pro is calling for entries for the 2016 Best Electronic Systems Technologies (BEST) Awards. This is an opportunity for your products to be the center of the industry’s attention at CEDIA Expo 2016, taking place September 13-17 in Dallas. Products eligible for judging must have either shipped in the 12 months before the August 8, 2016 deadline, or be set to debut in the six months after.
The competition offers the greatest amount of exposure for product entries than any other industry awards competition. All entries will be posted on CEPro.com in the Product Awards section with a link to your site, included in the November issue of CE Pro magazine, and promoted through an extensive marketing campaign to dealers, installers and contractors via our multimedia publications.

An unbiased judging panel of a dozen credible industry leaders, along with the editors of CE Pro, will consider all aspects involved such as innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the installer.
This year there are seven categories, each with subcategories:
- Loudspeakers
- Home Theater
- Multi-Room Audio/Video
- Control and Automation
- Household Enhancements/Installation Accessories
- Tools, Testing and Calibration
- Business Operations
- Peripherals and Enhancements
For the second year, a “Most Promising” category has been added to recognize products that are shipping within six months after CEDIA Expo 2016. New this year is a category that specifically addresses immersive audio technologies. Also new this year is a category covering Business Software of all types, not just design/proposal software.
