In October everyone celebrates Halloween with trick-or-treating and in the world of home video, it’s a big month for horror movies and TV shows.
Reflecting the fact that it is October, Reelgood’s weekly top 10 list of streaming titles for the week of Oct. 12-18 includes a number of scary titles. Topping the list for the week is the new Netflix show The Fall of the House of Usher, followed by the Lessons in Chemistry from Apple TV+, and the Prime Video title, Totally Killer.
Rounding out the interactive guide app service’s top five titles for the week are Gen V from Prime Video and Reptile from Netflix.
Other titles making the list for the week include Disney+’s new, season two of its popular series Loki, and the Disney+/Hulu series, Goosebumps.
Overall for the week, no single streaming service dominated the top 10 rankings with a number of titles represented. Netflix, Disney+, Hulu all each respectively are represented with two titles each. Prime Video has three titles in the top 10 list, and Paramount is also represented with Frasier.
