The new devices are also engineered to work seamlessly with Gemini for an upgraded smart home experience. Google Home Premium with Gemini (subscription required, sold separately) unlocks cutting-edge security features like searchable video history and detailed descriptions.2 So all customers have to do is type something like “Who let the dogs out?” to find out more about what’s happening at home.3
A better installation experience for pros.
We’re always listening to feedback from the professional channel on how to make our products and installation process even better. That’s why Nest Cam Outdoor comes in two configurations: a retail SKU with a power adapter, and a pro SKU with a 1.2m captive cable to 2 wires included in the box for easier, cleaner custom installations. We’ve also improved the professional installation flow for the new wired Nest Doorbell. Now you can conduct a manual chime test before connecting the doorbell to Wi-Fi, enabling the device to pass building inspections.
