Designed as a solution to power passive soundbars, the new Monitor Audio IA40-3 Compact Amplifier delivers 40-watts to each of its three channels.
Available to U.S. integrators via Kevro, the small-footprint amplifier incorporates a choice of analog and digital inputs.
Moreover, providing connectivity for modern listening applications, the IA40-3 Compact Amplifier also features wireless Bluetooth to allow users to stream content from their computers and smart devices.
Monitor Audio explains that integrators can install its latest amplifier behind flat-panel TVs and other locations that traditional amplifier products can’t reside.
Some of the amplifier’s other features include Dolby Digital decoding to facilitate a 3.1 audio experience, Bluetooth aptX for a higher quality wireless connection, and an RS-232 connection to support the amp’s integration into a control system.
In addition, the IA40-3 Compact Amplifier comes with an external IR sensor and mounting brackets.
