CEDIA Expo 2018 should be hopping with accessories for the new Sonus Amp, starting with the Slim Wall Mount from Sanus.

Let the accessories begin! Sanus is the first to announce mounts for the all new Sonos Amp. The Legrand subsidiary will introduce the Slim Wall Mount at CEDIA Expo 2018.

The mount works on any wall surface, including cabinetry, and allows the Amp to be mounted vertically or upside-down. Formed to fit the Amp, the mount is constructed from a single piece of light-weight steel, “placing the Amp nearly flush with the surface where it is mounted – helping maximize space and reduce clutter,” the company says.

“In partnership with Sonos, we developed a mount that provides ultimate placement flexibility,” says Mark Plummer, senior product manager at SANUS. “Whether someone is mounting a Sonos Amp in a space like a tech closet or needs to place it behind a mounted TV, the Slim Wall Mount gives the versatility to put an Amp nearly anywhere.”

The product’s lockable latch keeps the Sonos Amp securely in place in both vertical and upside-down orientations, and the included optional cable organization keeps cords snug and protects inputs from damage.

All necessary hardware is included in the box along with a time-saving drilling template that makes it easy to group several Amps together to support larger audio systems.

The Slim Wall Mount (MSRP $50) will be available on sonos.com and sanus.com starting November 1, 2018 and will be available to ship to authorized dealers on the same date.

Beam Mount

Sanus also is announcing a TV mount ($60) designed for Sonos's compact new Beam soundbar.

The mount offers 12 inches of height adjustment to ensure an ideal fit between Beam and the bottom of a mounted TV – “creating a clean, streamlined aesthetic, and its intuitive Smart Latch allows for speaker height adjustment with just the touch of a finger,” the company says.

Finally, Sanus will introduce at CEDIA a new Outlet Shelf ($20), designed specifically for the Sonos One and Play:1, but accommodating any little thing (under 10 pounds) that needs power and sits on a shelf.

An integrated cable management system routes and conceals power cords.
