Samsung has announced updates to its 2026 TV lineup, introducing refreshed versions of its lifestyle-focused The Frame series alongside a new generation of OLED displays. The updates reflect continued emphasis on design flexibility, AI-driven features and gaming performance across premium categories.

CE Pro spent several hours with these models at a press event at the company’s U.S. headquarters in New Jersey, and the updates reflect a continued push toward performance and design-forward displays that address both consumer preferences and integrator feedback, particularly around installation flexibility, cable management and system integration.

What’s New With Samsung’s The Frame Lineup?

Samsung’s 2026 The Frame lineup, including The Frame Pro and standard The Frame models, builds on the company’s “Art TV” positioning with expanded customization options and installation improvements.

The company is continuing to expand the category, including The Frame Pro, a step up from The Frame introduced last year, that utilizes a Neo QLED 4K display. The Pro version also retains wireless connectivity via the Wireless One Connect Box, allowing source devices to be placed up to 30 feet away from the display. The model is equipped with Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor and now includes a Micro HDMI port with eARC support for improved audio connectivity.

The standard The Frame model integrates connections directly into the display while maintaining a slim profile with a flush-mount Slim Fit Wall Mount. New back stoppers are designed to simplify cable management without removing the TV from the wall.

The installation changes reflect feedback from the custom integration channel, particularly around simplifying cable management and enabling cleaner wall-mounted installs.

Both models feature upgraded Glare Free technology to reduce reflections and improve perceived image realism when displaying artwork. Gaming capabilities include Motion Xcelerator 144Hz and support for up to 240Hz via Dynamic Link Gain (DLG) when connected to a compatible PC, the company says.

Samsung is also expanding size options, including a forthcoming 55-inch version of The Frame Pro.

The lineup continues to center around the Samsung Art Store, which the company says now offers more than 5,000 works from over 800 artists, alongside a rotating selection of free monthly content via Art Store Streams.

The Frame Pro is available now, with pricing starting at $1,999.99 for the 65-inch model and reaching $3,999.99 for the 85-inch version. Additional sizes are expected later.

Samsung 2026 OLED Lineup Adds New Design, Gaming and AI Enhancements

Samsung’s 2026 OLED lineup includes three series: S95H, S90H and S85H, with screen sizes up to 83 inches.

The flagship S95H introduces a new “FloatLayer” design intended to create a floating, gallery-style appearance when wall-mounted, adding a design element to the display similar to The Frame. The backing comes attached to the TV, but Samsung indicated a willingness to explore making it an optional attachment.

The model also supports Samsung Art Store access, extending the company’s art-forward positioning beyond The Frame lineup.

Across the OLED lineup, Samsung is expanding its Glare Free technology—now available on both the S95H and S90H models—along with VDE-verified Real Black and Real Color performance for improved contrast and color accuracy.

Gaming features are a major focus, with Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support aimed at reducing latency and screen tearing.

The S95H and S90H are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, enabling features such as 4K AI Upscaling Pro, Auto HDR Remastering and AI Motion Enhancer Pro. An AI Customization Mode can automatically adjust picture settings based on content type, the company says.

Samsung is positioning the S90H as a more accessible entry point into OLED, bringing many flagship features to a lower price tier.

The OLED lineup, available now, spans a wide range of price points, with the flagship S95H series starting at $2,499.99 for 55 inches and reaching $6,499.99 for the 83-inch model. The step-down S90H series ranges from $1,399.99 for a 42-inch display up to $5,299.99 for 83 inches, while the entry-level S85H lineup starts at $1,199.99 for 48 inches and tops out at $4,499.99 for the largest 83-inch size.

AI and Platform Updates Span Both Lineups

According to Samsung, both The Frame and OLED models incorporate Samsung Vision AI Companion, which integrates voice-driven assistance through Bixby, along with support for third-party AI services including Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.

Additional AI-driven features include AI Sound Controller Pro for adjusting dialogue and background audio independently, as well as AI Soccer Mode, which optimizes picture and sound for live sports.

Samsung has also streamlined access to AI features following feedback that they were previously difficult to locate within menus.

All models run on the updated One UI Tizen OS, with Samsung committing to up to seven years of software updates.

Samsung Gaming Hub is also available across both The Frame and OLED lineups, enabling console-free cloud gaming directly on the TV without the need for additional hardware.
