Integrators are more than ever battling product availability and diminishing margins. So, with its eyes squarely on those two major pain points for integrators, PowerHouse Alliance debuted its new house brand, dubbed A2V (Audio to Video), at CEDIA 2017. The racks and mounts are available exclusively through PowerHouse Alliance distributor members. Meanwhile, A2V in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeakers will make their debut at the end of October, says Dennis Holzer, executive director for the PowerHouse Alliance.
“We prioritize continual feedback from our dealers, and in doing so we received repeat requests for additional A/V accessory options including rack and mount solutions,” says Holzer. “All of the PowerHouse Alliance distributor members and many of their dealers were involved in selecting A2V’s categories and products, and through the design and manufacturing process to ensure a quality line.”
Holzer says the UL-listed products have “all the bells and whistles taken out of them” to increase dealer margin. Speaking of margins, they are triple-digit high.
“The A2V line provides the low price and increased margins that dealers expect from house brand products, with comparable quality to tier one brand products,” he says. “We stand behind the line, having ensured its quality, UL approval, and ease of installation, and we look forward to adding new categories to A2V as there is need in the market.”

The A2V TV mounts are available in various sizes to accommodate 40- to 70-inch TVs with MSRPs ranging from $99 to $129. There are three models available in each of three configurations: standard fixed mounts, mounts with tilting capabilities, or mounts with full arm motion/articulating. The packaging is color coded for simple inventory management.
The A2V rack series includes dealer requested features: ventilation, locking glass door, grounding, and customizable shelf and drawer options. The rack models are pre-configured, and can be mounted on the wall or installed on included wheels or feet. The racks are available in sizes ranging from 12 to 42 inches.
Both products come with consumer-friendly four-color packaging. Holzer says this is designed to take advantage of the fact that PowerHouse members have 28 self-serve warehouse locations among the total 40 locations.
To address the product availability concerns that dealers face, PowerHouse members have the ability to ship to dealers or to the jobsite in one day from all 40 locations. Nine of the locations can even ship same day. At the same time, the controlled distribution means A2V products will never show up on the Internet for consumers to price shop against.
