Paradigm Marries High-Performance with Discreet Integration
Paradigm has released six new LCR in-wall speakers: CI Pro P5, P3, P1 and CI Elite E7, E5 and E3. The company says these products are designed to provide professional integrators with a choice of high-performance speakers that discretely integrate into home spaces.
“These LCRs are the ideal speakers for anyone currently designing a home theater, or looking to upgrade the sound performance in their current room,” says Zoltan Balla, director of brand management, Paradigm. “It’s easy to achieve optimal sound with excellent sonic clarity and impact in any room layout, with the option to pair these LCRs with our current offering of CI Pro/Elite in-ceiling and in-wall speakers.”
Paradigm points out that its latest architectural speakers complement its existing CI Pro and Elite products. The speakers are engineered to deliver the best possible sound from gaming, movie and musical content.
The CI Pro series feature bezel-free micro-perforated grilles with unobtrusive aesthetics. The CI Elite builds upon the features of the CI Pro series through the addition of oversized voice coils and X-PAL pure aluminum woofer cones.
Paradigm is exhibiting in the Venetian (#30-115 and #30-117).
Anthem Incorporates Object-Based Audio
Anthem has announced DTS:X compatibility for a few of its products. Through an easy-to-execute software update, the company's AVM 60 pre-amplifier/processor and MRX 720 and 1120 A/V receivers will be able to deliver immersive audio through the addition of DTS' object-based surround sound format DTS:X.
“We are proud to announce that Anthem owners can now access this sound experience in their own home,” says Nick Plastis, product manager, Anthem. “As the catalog of movies, TV shows and video games featuring DTS:X continues to grow, we know our customers are excited to be able to take full advantage of this emerging technology.”
The AVM 60 is an 11.2 pre-amplifier/processor, and the MRX 720 and 1120 are part of Anthem’s third generation of MRX series of A/V receivers.
Anthem says the receivers also incorporate Dolby Atmos, as well as its ARC Anthem Room Correction equalization software suite, DTS Play-Fi compatibility, HDMI 2.0a, and options for two subwoofers out (parallel).
