Breaking from the traditional look of speakers, especially rock speakers, the Carson, Calif.-based audio manufacturer OWI has introduced its new Hoot Rock Indoor/Outdoor speaker.
This fun-looking speaker is designed to serve dealers and their customers in both the residential and commercial markets. Designed for distributed, background audio in areas such as sports bars, patios, gardens, atriums, spas, and consumer homeowner properties, the Hoot Rock Indoor/Outdoor speaker is available in a choice of multi-tone brown or multi-tone gray.
Engineered to resemeble an owl, the made-in-the-USA Hoot speaker features a glass-fiber reinforced concrete enclosure that is cured for 25 days, and it incorporates a water-resistant BSK woofer.
Standing 15-inches high, 11.5-inches wide and 7-inches deep, the UV-resistant speaker is designed to withstand environmental factors such as dirt, bugs, lawnmowers and animals, and to ensure its security, OWI also bundles the speaker with built-in security cable attachment rings.
Available in a choice of 4-ohm, 25-volt/70-volt 100-watt or 70-volt 25-watt models, OWI backs the speaker with five-year warranties.
