Remaining a popular alternative to today's digital formats like streaming media, vinyl continues is revival with audiophiles and newer millennial users. Supporting the format's long-term viability is the manufacturer NAD, with its new C 558 turntable.
The decades-old audio company's latest audio release is designed to provide music lovers with a reasonably priced turntable that integrates easily into modern A/V systems.

NAD C 558 Turntable Maximizes Consumers Investment in Vinyl
The Canadian company explains that its new C 558 turntable is a belt-driven product that incorporates a precision AC motor, along with an isolated power supply with universal voltage.
The C 558 also features a 9-inch tonearm that's prefitted with an Ortofon OM10 phono cartridge to provide integrators with a turnkey vinyl solution that as a complete package provides value to homeowners.
Some of the other features of the turntable include a rigid MDF plinth with rubber isolation feet, along with a 10mm glass platter with felt pad, and a low-resonance dustcover.
In addition, the C 558 offers installation options such as vertical tracking angle (VTA) and azimuth adjustments, as well as a detactable RCA cable that includes a separate ground wire.
MSRP for the C 558 turntable is $499.
