At Integrated Systems Europe 2026 in Barcelona, Lyngdorf Audio announced the SB-75, a new passive stereo soundbar designed for residential media rooms and home cinema installations.

According to the company, the SB-75 is intended to bridge the gap between traditional on-wall soundbars and separate left-right loudspeaker systems. The speaker is a passive, full-range stereo design housed in a shallow cabinet optimized for wall-adjacent or on-wall placement, with Lyngdorf positioning it as an alternative to standalone speakers where space, aesthetics, or screen integration are priorities.

The SB-75 is designed and manufactured in Denmark, with cabinet production and finishing handled at Lyngdorf Audio’s facility near its headquarters in Skive. According to the company, production is scheduled to begin in April, with European shipments expected in late spring and North American availability planned for late summer.

The SB-75 is designed specifically for on-wall mounting and includes an integrated wall-mount bracket. The cabinet is finished in extra-matte black, with rounded edges and a midnight-grey fabric grille intended to blend into both dedicated cinema rooms and multipurpose living spaces. Lyngdorf says the enclosure can also be installed behind acoustically transparent projection screens.

In addition to the standard model, the company will offer custom widths and color options to match various screen sizes and interior designs, positioning the SB-75 for custom integration projects where visual alignment and finish consistency are required.

Internally, the SB-75 features four 6.5-inch long-throw woofers with aluminum cones and die-cast baskets, paired with two 1.1-inch soft-dome tweeters. The closed cabinet is internally braced, a design choice Lyngdorf says supports controlled bass response and high output capability. The company notes that the same driver technology is used in its FR-2 loudspeakers, which were introduced previously as wall-adjacent, room-friendly floorstanding speakers.

Lyngdorf characterizes the SB-75 as efficient and compatible with a wide range of amplifiers, positioning it for use in both stereo and surround-based systems when paired with additional speakers and subwoofers.
