Lighthouse Design Studio is expanding its reach into the custom integration channel. In collaboration with business development firm Muto Communications, the company has begun developing an independent sales rep and dealer network specifically targeting CEDIA-channel integrators following its debut to the channel at earlier this year.

A Quick Overview of Lighthouse Design Studio

Founded in 2001 and led by Executive Director and Principal Lighting Designer Tim Ryan, Lighthouse Design Studio mainly serves high-end residential outdoor lighting projects.

In March of 2025, the company declared its intent to enter the luxury smart home segment, which has itself seen a surge in landscape lighting projects alongside the explosive growth of lighting within the channel.

For integrators, the firm offers a full-service approach that includes system design, product procurement, and post-installation supervision.

The Lighthouse Rep Network in Full

As part of its expansion of support, Lighthouse announced new partnerships with several leading CEDIA-focused rep firms. The recent appointments include:

  • Atlantic Integrated (Metro New York)
  • Sound Tech Marketing (Rocky Mountain region)
  • Momentum Marketing (TOLA region)
  • B. Sales Inc. (New England)

These firms also represent prominent lighting brands in the industry such as Coastal Source and AiSPiRE, with Lighthouse saying it expects these reps to play a key role in being able to better connect the firm with integrators working on outdoor projects.

Additional Engagement Planned for Lightapalooza

Getting ahead of Lightapalooza 2026 news storm, Lighthouse stated in the same announcement that it will also be presenting and exhibiting while at the show.

Lightapalooza 2026 take place February 16 – 19 at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas just outside of Austin and while the full details of the list of exhibitors has yet to be revealed, educational sessions are currently live on the site.

As for Lighthouse’s role at the event, Ryan will be leading two CEDIA CEU-accredited courses — “The Critical 5 of Landscape Lighting Design” and “The Critical 5 of Landscape Lighting Installation” — aimed at helping integrators strengthen their technical and design acumen in outdoor projects.
