There are lots of surge protection/power conditioning products in consumer electronics, but arguably only a few—use universally respected technologies like Torus Power. At CEDIA Expo Virtual, Torus Power will show its range of products, including its Elite Series, which combine toroidal isolation transformers with state-of-the-art micro-processing voltage-regulation technologies.
Kevin Main, president of Torus Power, states his company, which is based in the Toronto area, is trying to take a different approach to this year’s CEDIA Expo show.
Main says that Torus Power is developing a virtual booth experience that is designed to keep show attendees’ interest through educational materials such as training seminars and white papers, and through the emphasis of the company’s product line.
“We’re really focused right now on the new Torus Power Elite Series. This is the latest introduction of product that we’ve had over the past few months. The Torus Power Elite Series is a complete redevelopment of our automatic voltage regulation products,” explains Main.
“So, these are kind of our top-of-the-line products that are looking at providing clean power for larger installations and large products.”
Augmenting the company’s toroidal-based isolation transformer and automatic voltage regulation technologies, Main continues, is Torus Power’s new web-based Torus Connect control system. Main says that through the use of its new web-based remote platform integrators can perform a variety of functions without rolling a truck.
The company will also host training sessions on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16 to support these products and technologies. Main points out the training sessions will be held at 2 p.m. EST, and the training sessions will focus on the Elite Series of products and some of the control and setup functions the products offer through the Torus Connect platform.
