Stewart Filmscreen came out of CEDIA 2016 with one of its biggest product debuts in years with its new Phantom High-Ambient Light-Rejecting (HALR) screen.
According to president and CEO Shannon Townley, the screen opens up a larger potential market for two-piece projection for integrators.
“The Phantom HALR gives a consumer the ability to put a screen in a room where they may have windows or other light factors and still get a pristine, 16K film screen for watching movies,” he says.
Townley also describes how Stewart can put 50,000 microperfs per foot in the screen for acoustically transparent applications.
