Bond has expanded its smart control offerings through a partnership with StruXure, bringing native integration of Bond-powered control solutions to StruXure’s Pergola X and Evolve series motorized pergolas.
As part of the collaboration, StruXure is now offering a suite of four control products, including a StruXure-branded RF-to-WiFi bridge based on the Bond Bridge Pro, a five-channel wireless wall keypad, a 15-channel outdoor universal remote, and Bond’s Breeze Pro outdoor weather sensor. The solutions are designed to support app-based, voice, keypad, remote, and automated control of pergola louvers.
The RF-to-WiFi bridge enables control through the Bond Home app and supports integration with major third-party automation platforms, including Control4, Crestron, and Josh.ai, as well as compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The wireless keypad and outdoor remote provide additional options for individual, grouped, and scheduled control, with scene functionality available when paired with the bridge.
StruXure is bundling the bridge, keypad, and outdoor remote with its Pergola X and Evolve series models. The Breeze Pro weather sensor, which monitors wind, rain, and sunlight conditions, is also available through StruXure and can be configured to automatically adjust louvers based on user-defined thresholds.
The companies say the integrated offering is intended to simplify specification, ordering, and installation for dealers while expanding smart outdoor control capabilities within a broader automation ecosystem.
