AVPro Global Holdings, LLC., has officially entered into an agreement to acquire Remote Technologies Incorporated, otherwise known as RTI. The financial details of the acquisition have not yet been made available.
Under this agreement, AVPro states it aims to “drive accelerated innovation and deliver a seamless experience for end users” across its product portfolio.
AVPro Global Holdings LLC is the parent company of AVPro Edge, AudioControl Pro, Bullet Train, ThenAudio, and Murideo.
The company goes on further to state that it will leverage RTI’s engineering expertise to accelerate AVPro’s development of system drivers to integrate its AVPro Edge and AudioControl products with a broad array of third-party automation platforms and brands.

In turn, the company states RTI will benefit from AVPro product development and manufacturing resources.
“AVPro’s manufacturing scale and development resources will accelerate our product roadmap while ensuring the innovation and quality that RTI customers expect,” said Joe Roberts, RTI CEO.
Following its successful integration of AudioControl in 2023, AVPro plans to incorporate RTI’s product lines, including RTI and Pro Control branded solutions, into its broader portfolio.
RTI’s portfolio includes automation apps, processors, touch panels, keypads, AV signal routing solutions and remote controls, which most recently won RTI a Top New Technology (TNT) award in Residential at ISE 2025.
The move is expected to expand AVPro’s market presence among residential and commercial integration professionals.
“AVPro acquiring RTI brings together two innovators in software-driven audio, video, and control integration, creating unique synergies that deliver greater value for our customers,” said Jeff Murray, AVPro’s Founder and CEO.
“We look forward to welcoming the talented RTI team to the AVPro family and working together to set new standards for connected experiences,” Murray added.
The news follows another high-profile acquisition in the residential technology space, which saw Denon, Marantz and Bowers & Wilkins sold off to Samsung subsidiary HARMAN from their original owner, Masimo Corporation.
