Revamped Autonomic Product Line Aims to Reduce Prices, Increase Reliability

After spending over a year of R&D, SnapAV is reintroducing the Autonomic line of products.

After acquiring Autonomic Controls, SnapAV took a hard look at the product line and ultimately decided to make the products more reliable and better performing with some additional investments.

As a result, Autonomic eSeries products will be supported with new firmware, which the company says took more than 5,000 hours to perfect. The new firmware solves issues related to bugs and it addresses reliability to stabilize performance.

“We listened to a lot of feedback—both good and bad—and worked to improve our brand from the top to bottom,” says Michael de Nigris, vice president and general manager, Autonomic

“We believe this to be the best Autonomic yet, and something all dealers should be excited about.”

According to Autonomic, current firmware updates are available for the new 3e and 5e music streamers, which replaced the company's 2A and 5A products.

Both streamers provide the same features as the previous models while offering solid-state hard drives, as well as its eAudioCast technology that provides a customizable network-based audio solution.

“Nothing is more important than a reliable product,” emphasizes Matthew Kamp, product manager, audio, SnapAV.

“We made sure our latest firmware directly combats every problem we had in the field. We even added features to a number of control system drivers, so dealers have greater flexibility.”

Autonomic Revamp Covers All the Bases

Autonomic has also addressed the Mirage Media App, partly by solving any issues related to the old app, but also by introducing its new TuneBridge app, available on Android and Apple iOS platforms.

The TuneBridge app offers options such as room grouping, volume control, scene creation, favorites, and Autonomic's TuneBridge feature, enabling homeowners to seamlessly transition between streaming services.

“We always had great control system integration, and now we have a premier stand-alone solution to match,” comments de Nigris.

“It allows customers to control and curate music from multiple services while playing it at the highest resolution possible.”

Moreover, Autonomic has reduced the pricing of its 1e music stream and 120e amplifier to help dealers create more affordable digital audio systems for their clients.

Adding more streaming options, the company now offers Amazon Music to augment its list of streaming services it supports, and it has added OvrC remote management capabilities to all of the eSeries products to help dealers provide higher levels of customer service.

“Dealers can sell a complete Autonomic solution for just $500 per zone. This is the same price as the leading competition, but dealers get a protected product line with greater customization, flexibility, and margins,” notes de Nigris.

“We made these changes because our dealers deserve a better audio solution than what's on the market today. We believe Autonomic is that better solution.”
