Adding to its line of networking solutions, the Chino Hills, Calif.-based company Amped Wireless has announced its new REC22P Wi-Fi Range Extender

Amped Wireless says that its latest product is designed to deliver maximum wireless coverage for heavy Internet users, and through its use of two high-gain antennas that push signals through walls, the product delivers up to 11,000-square feet of coverage.

“The REC22P gives customers a discreet solution for extending Wi-Fi coverage in their home or office that serves a dual purpose as a rapid device charging station,” explains Lacey Limbrick, brand and marketing manager, Amped Wireless. “While small, this extender is powerful and designed with AC1200 technology so users won't have to sacrifice speed. Lagging Internet due to slow connections in areas of the home that are far from the router is common, the REC22P can fix all of that.”

Elaborating on the REC22P Wi-Fi Range Extender's features, Amped Wireless points out the product also includes its BoostBand Technology that is said to increase network speed by streamlining Wi-Fi traffic through the fastest available frequency, and it notes the extender also employs built-in signal strength meter aids dealers during the setup process.

Other features built into the REC22P include a pass-thru power outlet that allows users to plug in electrical products such as lamps, TVs and other devices, and Amped Wireless adds the Wi-Fi Range Extender also includes a charging port to charge smart devices.
