Outdoor living spaces have evolved from simple patios into fully realized entertainment environments, driving demand for displays that can withstand the elements while still delivering premium picture performance.

Responding to that shift, ADI has introduced the SunBrite Veranda 4 series, a new lineup of smart, energy-efficient 4K60 TVs designed specifically for full-shade outdoor applications in North America.

Marking more than two decades in the outdoor display category, SunBrite’s latest generation focuses on three core priorities: improved image quality, enhanced durability, and streamlined integration for professional installers.

Designed for Full-Shade Outdoor Spaces

The Veranda 4 series targets covered patios, porches, and hospitality environments where direct sunlight is limited but ambient light, humidity, and temperature swings can still challenge traditional indoor TVs. The positioning aligns with continued investment in alfresco residential and commercial spaces across North America.

Outdoor living is an exciting and fast-growing market in North America,” says Brandon Eshelman, director of product management at ADI. “This new line of TVs is designed for shaded and partially shaded outdoor spaces, delivering a bright, clear picture on covered patios, porches, and outdoor living areas.”

Eshelman adds that ADI plans to continue expanding its outdoor product pipeline to help dealers unlock new opportunities while improving installation efficiency.

Brightness and Energy Efficiency

At the core of the Veranda 4 series is a 600-nit 4K60 HDR10 display, powered by an advanced RGB-W pixel configuration and direct LED backlighting. According to ADI, the series delivers two to four times the brightness of many indoor televisions and is approximately 58 percent brighter than previous Veranda models.

Despite the brightness increase, the TVs use 36 percent less power and generate less heat than prior generations, supporting longer lifespan and improved energy efficiency in outdoor environments.

Built for Outdoor Conditions

Unlike indoor displays adapted for exterior use, the Veranda 4 series is purpose-built for outdoor performance. Key design features include an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water, conformal coating on internal components to guard against humidity and heat, and Eco Bright Outdoor Technology designed to prevent backlight failure in temperatures up to 50°C.

An anti-glare screen with a Quarter Wave Plate Polarizer helps maintain visibility in bright conditions, including when viewers are wearing polarized sunglasses.

Installer-Focused Integration and Control

The Veranda 4 series includes a redesigned media bay with improved mounting points to support clean, discreet installation of streaming devices and media players. The platform supports webOS smart functionality while maintaining compatibility with third-party streaming hardware.

Connectivity options include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, voice control, full IP control, and flexible IP or IR remote operation. Integration with ADI’s OvrC Pro platform enables remote monitoring, diagnostics, and system management, helping dealers reduce service calls and streamline long-term support.

The SunBrite Veranda 4 series is available initially in 65-inch and 75-inch models, with 49-inch and 55-inch sizes expected to arrive mid-2026. The lineup complements ADI’s broader outdoor portfolio across lighting, audio, and networking, supporting scalable outdoor entertainment designs for residential and commercial projects.
