According to Snap One senior security director Clint Choate, Snap One’s booth (#825) will highlight the advanced capabilities and business benefits of security, surveillance, networking and remote system access solutions from Araknis, ClareOne, Luma, Nest, OvrC and WattBox.

Snap One Highlights an Array of Solutions at ISC East

During the annual security trade event, the global electronics company will showcase a number of security, network and remote monitoring solutions that include:

Araknis 520 Series Router:  Supporting networked monitoring applications, this router has been designed for demanding network jobs. The Araknis router features a multi-gigabit LAN and WAN interface, load-balancing and link failover, an embedded firewall, and OvrC Pro. Additionally, the Araknis 920 Series Switch (launched earlier this year) is equipped with 10G PoE++ Type 4 ports to provide up to 90W of power per port, Layer 3 multicast routing, and upgradeable uplink expansion modules and power supplies.

Snap One points out that show attendees will also see how Araknis networking equipment creates a foundation for a ClareVision surveillance system, which can be integrated as a standalone solution or a component of a Control4 or ClareOne smart home and security system. The ClareVision line includes cameras with IR and LED light options, edge-type devices with SD card memory, NVRs for centralized storage and an intuitive mobile app offering real-time and recorded surveillance playback.

ClareOne Wireless Security and Smart Home Panel: According to Snap One, the ClareOne Wireless Security and Smart Home Panel is the first professionally installed controller that includes full-featured home automation and professional security monitoring in a single, unified touchscreen display, providing security integrators a simple pathway to promoting larger installation projects.

Clare Smart Video Doorbell: At ISC East Snap One will also display its Clare Smart Video Doorbell. This component features a 2MP image sensor, AI-assisted person detection, three unique colored faceplates, NDAA compliance, and a 16GB micro-SD card that can be scaled up to 512GB. Additionally, the ClareVision Smart Video Doorbell features native integration to ClareOne, allowing for full two-way voice communication through the ClareOne Panel, the ability to pull up live video, answer and reject incoming calls, a customizable Quick Access tray, and the ability to use motion detection to create automations.

Moving on to its Luma product line, Snap One will feature a variety of NDAA-compliant Luma X20 bullet, turret, and dome camera models (which the company recently displayed at CEDIA Expo). The X20 is the first Luma product line to include full OvrC integration, streamlining configuration processes and simplifying client calls to improve response times, reduce maintenance costs and provide better assurance of 24/7 operation.

Snap One explains that Luma camera feeds can be controlled and viewed through the The Luma View mobile app, or they can be integrated into Control4 or ClareOne security systems. New features the cameras provide include more compact camera designs, AI-powered human and vehicle detection, easy video sharing, synchronized multi-channel event playback, smooth integration with control systems and expanded Color at Night cameras.

Other activities and products Snap One will present in its booth at ISC East include demonstrations of its free OvrC platform. The company states that OvrC can enhance dealers’ customer service, reduce costs, accelerate installations and simplify backend operations with consolidated project information.

With OvrC, Snap One asserts that dealers can quickly locate and view all relevant data for a client’s system, while also having immediate ability to view the live status of any connected system for any client. For security integrators who offer monthly service plans, OvrC is a valuable add-on that can boost recurring revenue opportunities while enhancing relationships and user experiences.

The OvrC software platform can be integrated into virtually any residential or commercial system through the addition of WattBox power control and protection products, which will also be on display in Snap One’s booth. The latest WattBox technologies enable outlet metering, remote power cycling and device diagnostics, with products ranging from compact Wi-Fi-accessible dual outlet devices up to 12-outlet rack-mount solutions. Attendees can learn how OvrC’s surge protectors and connected outlets can reduce service calls, accelerate issue resolution and improve overall customer satisfaction.

In addition, at ISC East 2023 in stand #825 Snap One will also demonstrate the how the Google Nest Video Doorbell integrates with ClareOne panels. Snap One emphasizes the Clare engineering teams worked with Google and its API to enable their Pro series products to be available for use with ClareOne.
