TCL Stealth Launches QM5K Mini-LED TV Series

The QM5K Series will be the most barebones of TCL's 2025 Mini-LED lineup, but also the most affordably-priced.

TCL took a quieter approach to the launch of its most recent TV this week, with the new QM5K receiving no big announcements before being pushed onto the market. In all likelihood, it might have something to do with the rock-bottom pricing on it.

Clocking in at 75-inches for its biggest size, the QM5K costs a mere $1,199.99 MSRP, making it a very affordable model Mini-LED TV, keeping in line with TCL’s track record. This puts the QM5K series right below the QM6K series in terms of price point.

Other sizes being offered in the QM5K series include a 65-, 55- and 50-inch TV, each priced at $899.99, $699.99 and $649.99 MSRP, respectively.

Like with all of TCL’s other Mini-LED offerings for 2025, the QM5K series offers local area dimming, HDR10+ support and Dolby Vision support. Additionally, product listings show the TVs will have a native refresh rate of 60Hz across three HDMI 2.0 inputs. This means anyone looking to game on these TVs will be limited to 60fps at 4K resolution.

Just as a result of the price point alone, as well as its positioning in TCL’s broader Mini-LED lineup, it’s likely the QM5K will be the most barebones of the lot with the QM7K and QM8K far surpassing these in terms of performance. However, it also sets the QM5K at a near rock-bottom price tag.
