Bang & Olufsen Names Caroline Wozniacki Brand Ambassador

Published: April 4, 2022

The global AV manufacturer Bang & Olufsen (B&O) has announced that former tennis player Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, former NBA all-star David Lee are its newest brand ambassadors.

Caroline Wozniacki is set to play in her final tennis match on April 5, 2022 against Angelique Kerber in her home country of Denmark. B&O points out that Wozniacki’s accomplishments include 30 World Tennis Association (WTA) singles titles, a number one world ranking for 71 weeks, and she has also represented Denmark in the Olympics.

“Bang & Olufsen is legendary brand in Denmark and one that is synonymous with beautiful design and outstanding technological innovation,” notes Wozniacki.

“I introduced my husband David to Bang & Olufsen’s headphones and earbuds, and we have been loyal customers for years. When the brand approached us to discuss a larger partnership, including a collaboration on our new Miami home, David and I jumped at the opportunity to explore their bespoke program and customize larger products like televisions and sound systems to fit in with our vision for the project.”

As a Danish person Wozniacki says that B&O was an ubiquitous presence in her life with the company’s telephones, TVs, radio and speakers a prominent part of her childhood.

With her husband she continues, the couple worked with B&O’s design team to select products for their home, including portable speakers, a home theater, and customized items such as a Beovision Harmony TV and Beolab 90 loudspeakers.

B&O points out that some of the things its designers worked with Caroline Wozniacki’s family on include the choice of fabrics and colors to help their components blend into Wozniacki home unobtrusively.

“I am very proud to announce our partnership with legendary Danish athlete Caroline Wozniacki,” adds Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen.

“We share the same passion for perfection and performance – and as a Dane and lifelong Bang & Olufsen customer it makes sense that Caroline will be the face of the brand as she looks to the next steps in her personal and professional career.”
