Fremont, CA – AOC, the world’s largest manufacturer of LCD/LED Monitors and HDTVs, is introducing its new LED AireLED Series monitor. The AireLED Series, which boasts the slimmest display panel of any previous AOC model, is now available for purchase at Fry’s Electronics, Staples.com, CompUSA, Tiger.com, Buy.com, among others. E2043Fw (MSRP $139.99), e2243Fw (MSRP $169.99), e2343Fw (MSRP $199.99)
The AireLED Series’ design is a result of AOC’s efforts to manufacture displays with the clean, modern aesthetics that today’s consumer prefers. The series features the slimmest display panel of any monitor in the market (.5 in/ 12.7 cm) throughout. The entire display is encased in a white high-gloss casing with a black-piano finish bevel around the screen.
“AOC’s vision for the future of display design is clear when looking at the AireLED Series Displays; an energy-efficient, sleek and modern aesthetic that is meant to be watched, not seen,” said Robert Velez, North America Marketing Manager.
The intuitive OSD menu is accessible through the LED, touch-sensitive keys located conveniently on the front of base of the monitor. The base requires no assembly and features a tilt hinge that locks into place for desktop or wall mount applications.
The full-tilt hinge makes the AireLED Series monitor perfect for any business that needs visual displays, but has limited space. Businesses with needs to display products or selections such as architectural firms, ad agencies, retail stores, restaurants, hotels, etc., can benefit from the versatility of the ultra-slim panel and wall mount capabilities of the AireLED Series.
Continuing their commitment to energy efficiency, AOC programmed a number of energy conservation features into the AireLED Series that will reduce operating costs for business and households alike. These conservation features include LED backlighting that waste 50% the amount of energy of older CCFL displays, various energy saving modes and the e-Saver feature. Some of the conservation modes include the Power Saving Mode (uses 50% less power), Standby Mode (uses 0.1w) and five preset EcoModes that adjust the display settings to maximize energy consumption and viewing for various sorts of content. The e-Saver feature allows the user to set specific power configurations for all the aforementioned power conserving modes.
The series boasts the EPEAT Silver certification logo thanks to its energy conservation features and production.
