Addressing smaller system installations, Nortek Security & Control’s (NSC) Elan brand has announced that its SC-100 System Controller is now available.
Elan says the SC-100 System Controller expands professional integrators’ ability to service smaller installations or scenarios where single-point control is required for the control of media devices, climate systems or lighting systems.
According to the company, integrators can order the SC-100 System Controller as a standalone item or as part of a bundled solution that includes Elan’s HR10 handheld remote control.
Elan explains homeowners can use the system remote to manage their media and entertainment in one room, and they can use the Elan mobile app to control other subsystems such as lighting and security.
The new system controller provides control options for IP, RS-232 and IR-enabled devices.
Elan adds that integrators can manage its new single-room solution from the cloud, and it points out that it currently offers software version 8.4 for download.
