At CEDIA Expo/Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) 2025, conversations were vibrant and continuous. One particular location stood out as a hub for innovative discussions about the latest trends showcased at the event: the podcast studio on wheels. The debut of this new podcasting studio, situated inside a brand-new VW ID. Buzz in the convention center lobby attracted significant interest and fostered fresh, thought-provoking conversations surrounding prominent industry topics such as lighting, design, and smart home integration.
A total of 32 interviews with industry leaders were conducted inside the VW ID. Buzz over three days at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025. These interviews will be featured on Emerald’s podcasts, including Commercial Integrator and CE Pro, as well as Convo By Design, The Integrated Home, and others in the coming weeks and months. The podcasts were hosted by Dan Ferrisi of Emerald and Commercial Integrator, Zachary Comeau of CE Pro, and studio manager/host Josh Cooperman from Convo By Design.
A diverse group of podcast guests from various companies took a trip in the van, including those from Delano Associates, HARMAN, DMF Lighting, Restrepo Innovations, Logic AV, CEDIA, Leon Speakers, Daisy, RoseWater Energy, Selective Design, Robbox, Resolute Design Group, Kevro Monitor Audio NA, Commercial Integrator, LEA Professional, Emerald, MS Wired, Cinergy Spaces, Acoustic Smart, Premier Audio & Images, Crossline Electric, Wisdom Audio, Sonance, D-Tools, Digital Delight, and Customized.
