Between streaming audio, video, social media and email, homeowners are constantly connected to their home networks. Any break in that connectivity is pretty much cause for immediate concern.
Helping homeowners to bridge that connectivity gap between their homes and the rest of their property is the networking company TRENDnet. Recently the company announced that it has begun shipping its latest networking solution the 10dBi Wireless N300 Outdoor PoE Access Point (model #TEW-740APBO) to provide extended network coverage to outdoor spaces.
TRENDnet says the outdoor wireless access point (WAP) provides dealers with a 2.4GHz device that offers point-to-point connectivity through its PoE options, or it can be deployed as a tool within a blanket outdoor wireless system.
The WAP supports setup options such as access point, wireless distribution, repeater and CPE+A mode configurations to offer installers the necessary setup flexibility to meet a variety of client requirements.
In addition, TRENDnet also points out the TEW-740APBO also incorporates a built-in 10dBi directional antenna and an IP67-rated enclosure that ensure its longevity in outdoor environments.
