At CES 2026, Onkyo is showcasing a broad slate of new products and forward-looking concepts that span two-channel hi-fi, desktop audio, and future home theater platforms, while also marking the company’s 80th anniversary.

Muse Series Network Integrated Amplifiers

Leading the announcements is the new Muse Series, a pair of compact two-channel network integrated amplifiers designed to combine high-output amplification with built-in streaming. The lineup includes the Muse Y-50 and Muse Y-40, both built on fully digital architectures using Axign Class D amplification.

The Muse Y-50 is rated at 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms, while the Y-40 delivers 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Both models feature a 5.46-inch color LCD display showing track metadata and an analog-style VU meter, along with support for Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Chromecast, and AirPlay 2. Connectivity includes analog and digital audio inputs, HDMI ARC, phono input, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.

Onkyo says the Muse Series will be offered in black and silver finishes, with U.S. MSRPs set at $1,499 for the Y-50 and $999 for the Y-40. Availability is planned for May 2026.

Limited-Edition 80th Anniversary Products

In conjunction with its anniversary, Onkyo is also previewing several limited-edition products targeted for summer 2026. These include an 80th Anniversary Muse Series network streamer and integrated amplifier concept inspired by the brand’s historic M-588 amplifier, featuring a champagne-gold aluminum chassis and walnut side panels.

The company is also preparing limited-edition versions of its Creator Series powered speakers, including GX-30 and GX-10 models. These anniversary editions reference Onkyo’s legacy D-series speakers while adapting the design for modern desktop, TV, and turntable-based listening setups.

New Creator Series Tabletop Concepts, Home Theater Roadmap

Beyond traditional powered speakers, Onkyo is expanding the Creator Series with all-in-one tabletop speaker concepts. These designs focus on compact form factors, decorative cabinetry, illuminated visual elements, and a centrally positioned physical volume control. The tabletop speaker concepts are also expected to debut in summer 2026.

Looking further ahead, Onkyo used CES 2026 to outline its vision for future TX and RZ Series home theater components. Concept designs include processors, amplifiers, and receivers supporting up to 15-channel processing with 11 channels of amplification. Planned technology support includes THX Certified Dominus, Dirac Live with Dirac ART, and Auracast, with commercial availability targeted for 2027.
