Providing integrators with the ability to change system installations without chewing up rack and cable space, the new Middle Atlantic SR Series of Pivoting Wall Racks clears enough room for dense cable runs.
Building upon its SR Series of products, the new Pivoting Wall Racks save floor space when compared to traditional equipment racks. Middle Atlantic says the wider models feature the “advanced functionality” of the SR Series, including a pivoting mechanism that opens 90 degrees to simply access to rear equipment connections.
Middle Atlantic states that the wall racks are, “…All optimized for low-voltage applications and all designed to facilitate efficient, reliable installations.
Paul Dolynchuk, director of product management at Middle Atlantic says, “The wider enclosure fills out our SR Series by answering requests from consultants and integrators for additional cable accommodations.”
“Offering more options for cable-instensive installations such as multi-discipline, high-capacity scenarios where A/V, data and security equipment need to be housed together, this new solution helps ensure more reliable systems and better end-user experiences without added complexity or cost.”
Middle Atlantic SR Series of Pivoting Wall Racks Available in a Choice of Sizes
The N.J. based company says that within a seismic-certified enclosure, the Wider SR Series Pivoting Wall Rack is available in 24 RU, 40 RU and 46 RU size options to provide integrators with a selection to meet a variety of installations.
According to Middle Atlantic, the SR Series Pivoting Wall Rack saves an average of nine-square feet per cabinet.

Middle Atlantic explains that through the racks' pivoting floor bases, its compact footprint does not require the same space as traditional cabinets, allowing for more space and access to the rear panels of installed components.
In addition, the SR Series of Pivoting Wall Racks incorporate Middle Atlantic's built-in cable management, and a tool-free system for center section mounting to help dealers work through the equipment installation process.
