Designed for electronics professionals, the latest product launch from the networking manufacturer Luxul is now available.

The Legrand brand is now shipping its new Epic Series routers, which provide a host of features beyond the typical options bundled into standard routers.

“Epic 4 is the first router designed as a platform to help custom installers deliver advanced services to their customers,” says Jeffrey Curtis, vice president and general manager, Luxul. “Our partnerships with Domotz, Router Limits, Ihiji and others help us give integrators the tools they need to serve their customers better, as well as to add revenue to their bottom line. We're excited  to bring such a great product to market that helps our dealers deliver a superior user experience and exceed customer expectations.”

The routers can be used for installations ranging from residential smart homes to commercial environments like retail establishments and offices.

The devices' advanced capabilities are enabled through partnerships with companies such as Domotz and Router Limits. The Router Limits' service provides content filtering options, while Domotz's technologies provide remote management capabilities.

Luxul says the routers also offer features that CE pros have come to expect, such as high-performance WAN-to-LAN reliability and the choice of traditional port configurations with the ports on the front of the routers or A/V-friendly ports located on the rear of the components.

Other options include switchable blue/green LEDs to facilitate integration into A/V-centric racks.
