Like most integrators, Shalom Illouz of Powerfull Systems in Los Angeles is always trying to improve upon things for his clients. For 30 years, his company has been doing just that for its high-end Southern California clientele, building primarily around its expertise in the area of lighting and shade control.

So when Illouz saw the increasing amount of “wall acne” created by the growing number of electronic devices being placed in a home, he decided to do something about it. The result is SeeLess Solutions, manufacturers of flush-mount plaster mounting solutions to integrate everything from single-gang to four-gang switches, dimmers, thermostats, and even smoke detectors. The plaster mounts retail from $97 apiece up to $157 for switches, $137 to $147 for smoke detectors, and $97 to $117 for thermostats.

SeeLess (meaning that you “see-less” of the wall clutter) plaster mounting solutions are made of gypsum/plaster with accompanying aluminum bars that are screwed into two open wall studs and a metal junction box for an easy installation.

“Our platforms fit all Lutron dimmers, light switches, and fan controls.”

We chose to make our platforms from plaster because it is a naturally occurring, environmentally friendly, cost-efficient, and easy to install material. It can also be painted to match the color of your home and blends in nicely,” says Illouz. “Our platforms fit all Lutron dimmers, light switches, and fan controls.”

SeeLess offers two styles: The Designer style platform has soft, rounded corners, enabling the integrator, interior designer, or homeowner to be creative with the flow of the home’s design. Meanwhile, the Architectural style platform has square corners, providing a more modern look.

For integrators, SeeLess products follow the same installation process as any standard electrical devices. The only additional step is that the drywall installer has to tape and mud around the platform, which is the same exact process they do to seam any drywall joints.

Dealers can be resellers of the products, which also can be purchased directly from the company’s website. Integrators can request to fill out a dealer application or contact a regional representative.
