Fans of Klipsch’s premium Reference brand speakers will appreciate that the company now offers soundbars designed to match both aesthetically and acoustically. As a perk, each of the two new models—BAR 48 and BAR 40—come with a wireless subwoofer and are made from wood.
They also both work with Bluetooth wireless technology enabled devices and come with remotes to control sound and subwoofers levels independently.
The Klipsch BAR 48 is a high-performance 3.1 soundbar, featuring a dedicated center channel speaker for enhanced clarity, a wireless 8-inch subwoofer, and built-in surround sound processing technologies such as Dolby Digital audio technology, Dolby Digital Plus technology, DTS technology and DTS-HD technology.
The slim profile BAR 48 soundbar measures 48-inches in length and 2.8-inches tall and can be wall-mounted or placed on a table. Optional SURROUND 3 speakers can turn this 3.1 soundbar into a full-fledged, dedicated 5.1 surround sound system capable of delivering Dolby and DTS 5.1 formats natively.
The Klipsch BAR 40 is a 2.1 sound bar with a wireless 6.5-inch subwoofer, designed as an easy to set-up and use as an upgrade to underwhelming TV sound.
The BAR 40 features legendary Klipsch acoustics, a built-in Dolby Audio decoder and enhanced virtual surround sound modes for a cinematic experience. It measures 40-inches in length and 2.8-inches high.
