Klipsch is leading its CES 2026 presence with a broad wave of new product introductions, highlighted by a redesigned generation of its core powered speaker lineup and the launch of a new desktop audio system. The announcements come as the company begins its year-long celebration of its 80th anniversary this year.

Next-Generation Powered Speakers: The Fives II, Sevens II and Nines II

The most significant announcement centers on Klipsch’s second-generation powered speakers: The Fives II, The Sevens II, and The Nines II. The updated models replace their predecessors with new acoustic designs and an all-new electronics platform engineered by Onkyo, integrating AV-receiver-class architecture directly into each speaker system.

All three models feature Klipsch’s horn-loaded design philosophy, anchored by a new single-piece BMC baffle with an integrated Tractrix horn. According to the company, the new baffle construction improves rigidity, reduces resonance, and widens sound dispersion while enhancing bass clarity through updated Jet Cerametallic woofers sized at 5.25 inches (Fives II), 6.5 inches (Sevens II), and 8 inches (Nines II).

Dolby Atmos support is standard across the lineup via HDMI eARC, with the Nines II adding DTS:X compatibility. The Sevens II and Nines II also introduce Dirac Live Room Correction (limited bandwidth), using an included calibration microphone and the Klipsch Connect Plus app for automated tuning.

Connectivity spans HDMI 2.1, optical, coaxial, analog inputs with built-in phono preamps, USB-C playback, and subwoofer outputs. The Nines II further targets studio and professional use cases with balanced XLR inputs. Built-in streaming support includes Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready, with high-resolution playback up to 24-bit/96kHz.

The Sevens II and Nines II also offer optional wireless left-right speaker pairing, while all models feature redesigned metal top-panel controls and a backlit remote. New finish options include Red Oak veneer with a white baffle, alongside Walnut and Ebony variants.

Klipsch plans to demonstrate the Nines II at CES in Central Hall, with all three models scheduled to ship in Spring 2026. MSRPs range from $1,399.99 per pair to $2,399.99 per pair.

ProMedia Lumina Brings Modern Features to Desktop Audio

Alongside its living-room-focused speakers, Klipsch is expanding its desktop audio portfolio with the ProMedia Lumina, a 2.1-channel computer speaker system that updates the long-running ProMedia line with modern connectivity and lighting features.

The ProMedia Lumina system combines two horn-loaded satellite speakers with a slim, side-firing 6.5-inch subwoofer. Klipsch says the redesigned MicroTractrix horn and 3-inch midrange drivers are optimized for nearfield listening, targeting gaming, content creation, and work-from-home applications.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and a 3.5mm analog input, with system control handled through tactile onboard buttons, the Klipsch Connect Plus mobile app, and a new Klipsch Control desktop app for Windows PCs. Audio tuning options include music and movie modes, a six-band EQ, Virtual Surround, and a Night Mode.

Integrated LED lighting in each satellite offers multiple ambient light modes, music-reactive effects, and optional screen-synchronized lighting for Windows 11 systems. ProMedia Lumina is available now through authorized retailers at an MSRP of $379.99.

CES Concepts and the 80th Anniversary

Beyond shipping products, Klipsch is also using CES to preview early-stage concepts spanning headphones, portable Bluetooth speakers, tabletop audio, outdoor-capable soundbars, and future premium hi-fi and home theater loudspeakers. While not finalized products, the concepts outline the company’s longer-term design and engineering direction.

Klipsch is also formally launching its 80th anniversary celebration. The company plans a year-long series of initiatives including limited-edition products, commemorative merchandise, a new anniversary logo, and special events tied to its factory and museum in Hope.
