A group of veteran consumer electronics audio veterans led by Stephen DeFuria have purchased the importer and distributor VANA Ltd

Led by former NAD and THIEL Audio employee DeFuria, and his partners James, Roy and Justin Feldstein, principals of the custom installation company Audio Den, VANA Ltd will now base its operations in Lake Grove, N.Y. and Boston.

VANA's new management structure will feature James Feldstein as CEO, Roy Feldstein as CTO, Justin Feldstein as managing director, and DeFuria as director of business development.

DeFuria explains VANA's goals are to provide dealers with access to a variety of products and the support necessary to succeed selling these products.

“Our company’s mandate is to focus on genuine, high-performance products that represent every price altitude in each product category,” notes DeFuria. “We want to have relationships with brands that epitomize benchmark performance, including audio accessories that eschew mythology and offer listeners verifiable sonic enhancement. We are a small but dedicated company with six employees, all seasoned audio professionals. As a team we are prepared to invest the financial and human resources necessary to establish VANA as a trusted entity in the marketplace. We plan to support our channel with training initiatives and highly visible brand messaging, including aggressive traditional and non-traditional strategies that serve our dedicated dealers. It is our intent to be much more than just a logistics management operation. Audio retailers can anticipate best-in-class business programs, better demo terms and increased margins—the tools they need to be successful in today’s competitive market.”

VANA currrently represents brands such as Audio Physic, Primare Electronics, European Audio Team (E.A.T.) and Dr. Feickert Turntables, and the company points out these brands represent value and performance within the market.
