Led by a veteran core of executives the California-based company DaVinci Group entered the custom installation market a few years ago with a competitive product line. Adding to its product selection the company announced this past fall three new speakers that will diversify its Edgeless Design Series.
DaVinci Group says the new models represent a noticeable upgrade over the previous generation models, and all three speakers are designed to integrate into home environments with minimal aesthetic impact through the use of thin magnetic grills that attaches to create a seamless appearance.
The new products include the EDC-600, the EDC-601 and the EDC-602.
The EDC-600 features a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer, a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, and it delivers a rated frequency response of 52Hz to 20kHz.
The EDC-601 is a two-way design with a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer and 1-inch soft-dome tweeter. The 601 adds a +/-3dB tweeter output control, and DaVinci Group says the 88dB sensitive speaker delivers a frequency response of 49Hz to 20kHz.
The EDC-602 steps up the drivers with a 6.5-inch aluminum woofer and 1-inch pivoting aluminum-dome tweeter. The EDC-602 also includes the +/-3dB tweeter output control, and the company adds the 88dB sensitive speaker delivers a frequency response of 48Hz to 20kHz.
